General Information
Venue
After two years in Auckland, The New Zealand Jewellery Show returns to the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington. The main exhibition will be held on the first floor in the Renouf Foyer, a large space with a high ceiling and plenty of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows.
Accommodation
Wellington has many fantastic accommodation options available. However, as it is the last weekend of WOW and the first weekend of Rugby World Cup 2011 – we strongly recommend that you book now to ensure you have accommodation for this period. We are happy to provide guidance should you require any information on accommodation. Please don’t hesitate to call us.
Pass-outs
Complimentary pass-outs will be available to the public at the information desk.
Designers’ Security
Two security bands will be issued to each registered designer. These are to be worn for the duration of the event and will replace the photo ID and lanyards used in previous years. Additional wristbands will be made available for a fee for extra staff working during the show.
Sales and Collection of Work
You may release sold work to customers immediately, provided you maintain a full display throughout the exhibition.
EFTPOS Facilities
No hard wired EFTPOS machines are able to be used in the venue for the 2011 show and no phone lines will be made available for EFTPOS machines.
- Designers who have Wireless EFTPOS terminals will be able to use these terminals on site if they wish.
- For designers wishing to hire an EFTPOS terminal, this can only be done through the New Zealand Jewellery Show organisers and we have negotiated an exceptional deal for the 2011 event.
- Should you wish to hire an EFTPOS terminal(s) then please contact us at info@jewelleryshow.co.nz or order at the time of registering for the event.
- This year we will again offer participating designers a centralised EFTPOS facility which will be situated at the Information Desk.
- We will not offer a cash out facility but designers will be able to put purchases through either via Debit or Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa only). A small commission will be charged on each sale to cover EFTPOS charges.
- For those designers wishing to use the centralised EFTPOS facility, there will be a one off charge of $100 plus GST as well as a commission payment for transactions undertaken on your behalf
